Facilitated Communication, Neurodiversity, and Human Rights

Human Rights Quarterly published their February 2021 issue, which includes an article called “Facilitated Communication, Neurodiversity, and Human Rights.” The article discusses the implications for human rights activist in supporting Facilitated Communication, a pseudoscience with no controlled studies showing its validity as a form of communication for people with severe autism or other disabilities.
